ProSearch President, Suzanne Fairlie, Presenting at IACPR, SIM and CIO Forum

 

WILLOW GROVE, PA,  March 2009 - Suzanne Fairlie, President of ProSearch, a retained executive search firm specializing in information technology leadership roles, will moderate presentations at upcoming IACPR, SIM and CIO Forum events.

At an IACPR (International Association for Corporate & Professional Recruitment- www.iacpr.org) event in Philadelphia on April 21st  Fairlie will moderate a presentation on “The Value of Human Resources in These Challenging Times”.  Panelists Ed Clemons, Senior VP Human Resources, Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company,  Matt Geis, Director of Talent Acquisition, Lincoln Financial Group, and Beth Glassman, VP of HR, Brandywine Realty, will lead an in-depth discussion of how corporate human resource departments are dealing with the tough economy and what they view as their biggest challenges going forward.

In May, Fairlie will lead a panel discussion at the Philadelphia local chapter meeting of SIM (http://www.simnet.org).  SIM is an association of senior IT executives and IT thought leaders who come together to share and enhance their rich intellectual capital for the benefit of its members and their organizations.  Fairlie’s topic "Career Visibility and Development for the CIO”, will also include, Alan R. Guibord, CEO and Chairman, The Advisory Council (TAC), and Bob Blumenthal, Senior Client Partner, Korn Ferry.  The panel will explore such issues as: how to maintain visibility and manage your career internally, what are the opportunities for the CIO in a difficult market, and what are the critical qualities companies are looking for in today’s CIO.

On May 16th 400 regional CIO’s will gather in King of Prussia for this years CIO Forum (www.premiertce.com) event.  Fairlie will moderate a presentation on “CIO's, the Next Step and How to Get There”.  Other panelists include: Bill Morgan, SVP of HR, NASDAQ/OMX and Alan R. Guibord, CEO and Chairman, The Advisory Council (TAC).
