September 2008- ProSearch President, Suzanne Fairlie, Moderated On-Boarding Presentation at an IACPR event in Philadelphia
Suzanne Fairlie, president of ProSearch, a retained executive search firm specializing in finance and information technology search, hosted three local SIM Panels. SIM (http://www.simnet.org) is an association of senior IT executives, prominent academicians, selected consultants, and other IT thought leaders built on the foundation of local chapters, who come together to share and enhance their rich intellectual capital for the benefit of its members and their organizations.
On June 3, 2008 Fairlie hosted a panel at the Philadelphia local chapter meeting. Fairlie’s topic was “The Value of the CIO/CEO Relationship”. Speakers included, Tim Myers, COO of IDP, a software vendor, and Randy Gaboriault, CIO and Strategic Development Officer for Teleflex, a multibillion dollar global company. Each have each led and lived through very significant organizational change.
On September 9, 2008 Fairlie participated in a panel discussion at the Philadelphia local chapter meeting on "Business Ethics". The panel also featured William J. Bryon, author of The Power of Principles, Ethics for the New Corporate Culture; Barbara Jones, Chief Compliance Officer, AmeriHealth Mercy Family of Companies and Pamela Fusco, internationally known Information Security and Risk expert.
On September 11, 2008 Fairlie hosted an informative panel discussion, at the New Jersey chapter meeting, with insight from top executive search firms on what is going on in the market place, approach to networking and guidance on how to manage your career. Speakers included Phil Schneidermeyer, Partner at Heidrick & Struggels, John Lucht, Executive Recruiter and Author of “Rites of Passage at $100,000 to $1 Million+”, and Alan R. Guibord, CEO and Chairman, The Advisory Council (TAC).
