Executive Search Firm ProSearch Celebrates Seventeen Years in BusinessProSearch President and Founder, Suzanne F. Fairlie is pleased to announce that January 2005 marks the firm's seventeenth anniversary. "We plan to celebrate all year long doing what we have done for the past 16 years," says Suzanne. "We will place the right people in the right jobs on behalf of our clients." As the new year begins, Suzanne particularly wants to acknowledge her team of associates who have been the key to a well-oiled machine that delivers to clients significant placements every year, many of whom enjoy an average tenure of over seven years with their new company. Marguerite Ferraro, our Manager of Recruitment for almost a decade, is especially committed to insuring successful searches. Without clients, of course, there would be no celebration. Special thanks go to ProSearch customers who have voted their confidence and satisfaction by offering repeat business these many years. Client categories range from hospitals and health care systems, to pharmaceutical companies, financial services firms, manufacturing, transportation and e-businesses. Recent years have been rewarding to ProSearch. In 2004, Aetna recognized the company as the "Small Business of the Year" for the mid-Atlantic region. With that recognition came a $5000 grant which ProSearch designated to one of its favorite charities, Project H.O.M.E. The firm ranks consistently in the Philadelphia Business Journal's "Top 25 Search Firms". It is WBE and WDBE certified.Suzanne, herself, has found the years rewarding. In 2004, she was elected Vice President of Pinnacle Society which is the nation's premier consortium of Top Recruiters within the permanent placement and search industry. Since 1989, the Pinnacle Society has provided the nation's top recruiters a forum in which to exchange the business principles and placement techniques that lead them to achieve, and allowed them to maintain their success. She also is active in many other professional and industry organizations including the International Association of Corporate and Professional Recruitment. Suzanne believes in "giving back" to the community. She serves on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement and The Black Data Processing Association, both social service organizations that provide young people with opportunities to succeed. She also serves on the Board of Directors of The Opera Company of Philadelphia, an important contributor to the arts and culture environment of the Greater Philadelphia region. For 2005, ProSearch believes the biggest challenge for companies is labor shortage. "Basically, there are too many jobs for too few people," says Suzanne. "With a U.S. unemployment rate of about 5%, the economy is essentially at full employment. We can find the right people for the right jobs because that is what we do well, but companies are going to have to work smart to retain them." Sounds like full employment for search firms and a good time to celebrate being in the business. Return to ProSearch In the Press
