Job Description

Our client, a rapidly growing healthcare services organization in the Philadelphia suburbs, has retained us to find a VP of Finance to head up Finance, Facilities Management, and Purchasing. The company is well established, with an excellent reputation nationally, and strong growth. This person will manage and grow the existing teams, report to the CEO, sit on the Executive Committee, lead the development of new standard and initiatives, and develop stronger costing and cash flow projections. Mentoring people and managing projects are key competencies, as well as strong understanding of HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley, payroll, tax, contracts, capital financing, building construction, compensation, and other financial issues. Understanding of Great Plains or similar financial systems is key, and understanding 3rd party billing, medical lab or clinical lab issues is helpful. CPA and MBA are highly preferred, in this well educated organization, where turnover is minimal. Growth is ongoing with a very collaborative and caring management philosophy, combining high ethics with a great sense of humor.
