Head of Strategic Innovation
Paul Park explores strategies and technology for eDiscovery. Paul is a futurist, incubating and assimilating technology to enhance our customers' eDiscovery experience through strategic alliances and strategic partnership. Paul holds degrees in Physics, Mathematics, and Philosophy from UC Berkeley and has 20 years of experience in business innovation and technology, developing solutions for companies such as IBM, Disney, Sony, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and ATT. Paul's current areas of inspiration include robotic automation, cloud computing and translation memory. Mr. Park enjoys eDiscovery’s endless opportunity for innovation.
David Li, Ph.D.
Dr. Li currently heads the Linguistics, Analytics, & Data Science team at ProSearch. In addition to implementing the Technology Assisted Review solution for ProSearch, David researches the innovative application of advanced searching methodologies such as natural language processing and machine learning. With a background in both social and biological science, David received his Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Southern California, M.Ed. from Harvard University, and B.Sc. from Simon Fraser University.
Sean Foley, Esq.
Mr. Foley’s experience is in consulting on matters of information governance, case preparation, and document management, as well as leading large scale automated document review engagements on behalf of Fortune 500 companies. A licensed California attorney, Mr. Foley spent five years handling all aspects of complex case litigation up to and including trial and binding arbitration, motion practice on discovery issues, arguing dispositive motions, and participation in early resolution and mediation of cases. Prior to joining ProSearch, Mr. Foley was Manager of Research and Implementation at H5, where he managed domestic and offshore review teams. Mr. Foley earned his B.A. in Theology from Georgetown University and his J.D. from the University of San Francisco.
Gina Taranto, Ph.D.
Emeritus Head of Linguistics, Analytics, & Data Science (LADS)
Dr. Taranto’s experience is in the design and implementation of search and automated document review solutions for clients in the Financial Services, Technology, and Pharmaceutical industries. Gina built the Linguistics, Analytics, and Data Science group at ProSearch. Her application expertise includes IBM’s Watson Explorer, Equivio Relevance, kCura Relativity, and dtSearch. She is a published author in the fields of linguistics and information retrieval. Previously, Dr. Taranto was a lead linguist and adviser to client engagements at H5, and a research linguist at both A-Life Medical, Inc. and Northrop Grumman Information Systems. She received her B.A. from Kresge College at the University of California, Santa Cruz, with honors, and her M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego.
Senior Software Developer
Greg Duncan has been developing eDiscovery software applications since his days at the now-defunct Arthur Anderson. Greg continued to develop eDiscovery applications for the next 10 years during his tenure at KPMG, a time of continuous change and innovation in the world of eDiscovery and information governance. As a Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET MVP and a certified Scrum Master, Greg has been blogging and podcasting substantive technology information for many years. Greg’s dedication to research, in tandem with his vast experience, brings forth relevant and useful information that can be applied to all aspects of legal technology.
Kenneth’s scope of responsibility at ProSearch requires a tremendous level of creativity and knowledge. Leading a large team of eDiscovery professionals in support of one of the largest financial institutions in the world, Kenneth is directly responsible for innovation, product delivery, and maintaining ongoing client relations. Kenneth’s vast experience as an eDiscovery professional, coupled with his experience as a former practicing attorney, form the basis of a background rich in both strategic and tactical planning and execution. Kenneth combines the historical with the future while working with ProSearch’s product developers to define a better way for corporations seeking to improve their eDiscovery processes and outcomes. Mr. Spencer holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law.
